Jagmohan Mundhra’s movie, which began its life as Roommates, has now been re-christened 'Apartment'. Along with the name, the movie’s cast has also undergone a drastic change. Earlier, the project had Gul Panag and Raima Sen, but now the film is being shot with Neetu Chandra and Tanushree Dutta. And though Roommates had made news for having Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfiqar as its hero, post 26/11 he was ruled out of the movie. Now Rohit Roy has been signed up for the movie.

Even the producer is no longer the same. The movie has changed hands from One Thought Entertainment to Magna. Apartment has been penned by Syed Gulrez an associate of Mundra. The director is reportedly very excited about the project, which is being described as an urbane edge-of-the-seat thriller.
